Locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Port Tampa (Tampa), FL. Position overview: Provide emergency care in hospital EDs on a locum tenens basis. Perform patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, stabilize and treat acute conditions, perform minor procedures, and develop/manage treatment plans. Work flexible shifts across emergency settings as scheduled. Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Active Florida medical license. Current ACLS and PALS certifications. Compensation & benefits: Competitive hourly rate. 1099 independent contractor status. 100% travel reimbursement on top of rate.
