Ideal candidates will be trained in cardiac-fellowship or have demonstrated cardiac proficiency with TEE along with an interest in playing a significant role in our ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program . Our program is associated with the HCA Healthcare/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, and we have a complement of 15 residents. Qualified Candidates: Possess MD or DO BE/BC in Anesthesiology Licensed in FL Desire to be part of a large, cohesive team of employed hospital professionals Passion for graduate medical education Opportunity Highlights: Newly updated compensation plan + Additional core faculty GME stipend $75,000 start date bonus 10 weeks’ time away from practice Non-clinical GME time for didactic teaching, mentoring, evaluations, and scholarly activities Home call split equally among cardiac physicians + paid for calls taken above the minimum 40-hour work week with peel-off relief system Anesthesia care team model of 14 anesthesiologists, 18 CRNAs and 15 residents Supervision ratios: APPs 1:4 | Resident 1:2 Diverse case mix including general, orthopedics, vascular, urology, OB, GI, and endoscopy No trauma or pediatrics Incentive/Benefits: $5,000 annual CME/licensure/dues allowance Medical, dental, vision coverage FSA, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance 401(k) company match that increases with years of service 100% company paid occurrence-based malpractice coverage HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is a 350-bed acute care facility serving Florida’s Nature Coast.
