We are seeking a Board-Certified interventional cardiology physician for locum tenens coverage in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role focuses on inpatient cardiology care - hospital rounding and cath lab coverage - with limited outpatient clinic duties. Schedule & coverage Day shift: 7:30 AM-5:00 PM, plus on-call responsibilities Weekend coverage required On-call: minimal volume; ~60% of shifts lead to callbacks Average callback response time: ~2 hours Clinical responsibilities Provide inpatient interventional cardiology care, including hospital rounds and patient evaluation Perform cath lab coverage and manage acute interventional cases Respond to on-call needs and coordinate urgent care Provide outpatient clinic services as needed and collaborate with cardiology and hospital teams Patient population & practice environment 100% adult patients Approximately 80% inpatient / 20% outpatient split Outpatient clinic volume: ~14 patients per half day Level III trauma center Electronic medical record: Epic Qualifications Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology with completed fellowship Active Ohio medical license Minimum 2 years post-fellowship experience Current ACLS and BLS certifications If you are an experienced interventional cardiologist seeking locum coverage in Cincinnati with strong inpatient and cath lab skills, this opportunity offers a focused, collaborative clinical role.
