EM Medical Director opening in Nags Head, NC Full-Time & Permanent Requirements: - BE/BC Emergency Medicine - NC Licensed - Previous experience as a medical director or department chair. Details: - The successful applicant will provide direct clinical care in addition to managing operations. - Key management responsibilities will include staffing, financial management, performance improvement, and driving quality and safety initiatives. - High quality emergency medicine team inclusive of 6 physicians and 9 advance practice providers - Collaborative and congenial staff - 21-bed emergency department serves approximately 23,100 patients each year - Telestroke support - Support from the Department of Emergency Medicine at East Carolina's Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, NC - Opportunity to live in one of the top coastal locations in the U.S. - Excellent public school system - Strong community outreach - Comprehensive Benefit Package to include: Annual Stipend, Relocation Assistance, Vacation, Sick, & Holidays, Malpractice (with tail), 401k/457b, Medical, Dental, & Vision, Life Insurance Location: The Outer Banks of North Carolina is a chain of barrier islands stretching from the Virginia border south to Ocracoke Island.
