Location: Seattle, Washington Overview Provide locum tenens emergency medicine coverage as part of an established ED team. Weekend coverage is required. No on-call obligations. Shift Options (9-hour shifts) 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM Core Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients presenting to the ED. Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and emergent conditions. Perform emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice. Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging. Coordinate care with nursing staff, consultants, and other team members. Determine and execute appropriate dispositions: admission, discharge, or transfer. Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation. Qualifications Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Active Washington medical license Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications Current DEA registration EOE
