Transform Senior Mental Health Care in Northeast Florida Baptist Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team as an Outpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist in Jacksonville, Florida. Position Highlights 100% outpatient practice Hybrid schedule with work-from-home opportunities No call responsibilities No nights or weekends Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model Opportunity to work alongside and educate University of Florida Psychiatry residents Physician-led, professionally managed organization Responsibilities Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients Manage conditions including depression, anxiety, dementia-related behavioral concerns, cognitive disorders, and other late-life psychiatric illnesses Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based approaches Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and behavioral health professionals throughout the Baptist Health network Maintain high standards of documentation, quality, and patient-centered care Qualifications MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred, but not required Residents and fellows are encouraged to apply Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one DEA license required Compensation & Benefits Baptist Health offers a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits including: Health, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plans CME allowance Malpractice coverage Paid time off Relocation assistance (where applicable) Why Baptist Health?
