Location: Dublin, Georgia - On-site nocturnist locums role at a community hospital with an open ICU model. Schedule & Coverage Nocturnist shift: 7:00 PM-7:00 AM On-site nights and weekends; no off-site call Ongoing need with immediate start Core Responsibilities Provide overnight hospitalist coverage and manage all inpatient admissions Admit to and manage ICU/CCU patients; critical care rounding for up to 8 CCU patients Independently assess, stabilize, and resuscitate critically ill patients prior to arrival of additional support Respond to codes and participate in critical care management Practice within an open ICU hospitalist model Accurately document and bill critical care time Qualifications Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience Demonstrated competency in ICU admissions, code management, and critical care rounding Ability to independently stabilize and resuscitate critically ill patients Active Georgia medical license required Active Georgia DEA registration required (Georgia must be listed) Clean professional file Contract & Benefits Locum tenens, 1099 independent contractor status Generous hourly rate (details provided during contracting) 100% travel reimbursement on top of rate Malpractice coverage and tail provided Dedicated 24/7 locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling EOE
