McLaren Thumb Region, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to join an excellent team of collegial, friendly peers. This is an employed position offering a competitive compensation and benefit package. This opportunity will serve the community of Bad Axe MI, located in the Thumb of Michigan. The selected candidate must obtain a license in the state of Michigan and must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine to apply. Compensation Package: Out patient opportunity with possibility of weekend or holiday Hospitalist coverage at additional compensation A base of $280,000, salary commensurate with experience will be offered Out patient opportunity Additional compensation available through wRVU incentive program A comprehensive benefit package will be offered 40 hours per week/47 weeks per year - 5 weeks to be used as needed for CME, holiday, sick time, vacation time and bereavement, etc. Sign on bonus / relocation expenses negotiable $4,000 and 5 days per year for CME Work Schedule: Very limited call - no hospital call McLaren Thumb Region employs Physicians and mid-levels (both NP's and PA's) at clinics across counties Additional Info: Opportunities to work with Medical Students All locations are an NHSC site for Federal Student Loan Repayment McLaren Thumb Region McLaren Thumb Region is a critical access not-for-profit hospital provider of integrated healthcare located in Bad Axe, Michigan.
