Fort Pierce, FL - Locum tenens position for Emergency Medicine physicians to provide acute care across emergency department settings. Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of emergent conditions. Perform history and physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans. Provide procedural care as indicated (airway management, laceration repair, fracture care, wound management, etc.). Administer medications and coordinate patient disposition (admit, observe, discharge, transfer). Document care accurately and timely in the medical record and communicate effectively with nursing and consulting teams. Requirements ABEM or AOBEM board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine. Active Florida medical license. Current ACLS and PALS certifications. Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor. Compensation and Perks Competitive hourly rate. 100% travel reimbursement in addition to rate. Med-mal coverage plus tail provided. Dedicated 24/7 locum consultant to manage credentialing and shift scheduling. EOE
