Surgeon - Community Hospital in Sonora, CA
Join a collaborative surgical team in Sonora, CA and practice full-spectrum general surgery in a community-based setting. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary group - physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other staff - to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Compensation: $3,000 per shift What you’ll do Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients who need surgical care. Perform general surgery procedures and oversee preoperative and postoperative care. Provide consultations and create individualized treatment plans. Care for both inpatient and outpatient surgical patients. Respond to surgical emergencies as they arise. Maintain thorough, timely medical documentation. Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts. Who we’re looking for MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school. Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. Eligible for, or able to obtain, a California medical license. Current DEA registration or eligible to obtain one.
