Location: Atlanta, Georgia Position type: Permanent, full-time, hospital-based Schedule 7 days on / 7 days off Core responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients requiring general and acute care surgery. Provide surgical consultations and inpatient perioperative management. Diagnose and treat acute surgical conditions. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams (ED, ICU, medicine, ancillary services). Deliver comprehensive surgical care during assigned coverage periods, including operative and non-operative management, documentation, and handoffs. Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. Experience in acute care/trauma surgery. Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain). Notes Clinical duties focused on hospital-based general and acute care surgery services. Full credentialing and privileging required per facility. EOE
