Location: Stuart, Florida Assignment Length: Ongoing through June 30, 2027 Schedule: 12-hour shifts; day and night (AM/PM) coverage Setting: Hospital Emergency Department Coverage model: Single-physician coverage Emergency Department Beds: 10-11 Volume: ~0.5-2 patients/hour Population: Adults and pediatrics Acuity: Mostly ESI levels 3-4; occasional level 2 Admission rate: ~2-3% Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries for adult and pediatric patients Provide emergency stabilization and management Perform emergency procedures within scope of EM practice Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics Collaborate with nursing, radiology, consultants, and ancillary services Complete timely, accurate documentation in the EMR Qualifications ABEM or AOBEM board certified or eligible Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain Current DEA registration EOE
