Sutter Lakeside Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Board Eligible/Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician to join our outpatient cancer care team in Lakeport, California. This is an excellent opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered oncology care within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment while making a meaningful impact in a close-knit Northern California community. The incoming physician will care for patients throughout their cancer journey, from initial evaluation and diagnosis through treatment, ongoing monitoring, and follow-up care. Core Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations for new oncology patients Review patient histories, laboratory results, imaging, and pathology to establish diagnoses and guide treatment Develop and manage individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Enter and manage Beacon infusion orders, including treatment updates and modifications Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up throughout treatment Educate and support patients and families through diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care Collaborate closely with advanced practice clinicians, infusion nursing, pharmacy, care coordinators, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record Qualifications MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology Active California medical license or ability to obtain prior to employment Commitment to collaborative, compassionate, and patient-centered cancer care Join Us and Enjoy Guaranteed salary of $432,016–$702,998 annually Relocation assistance Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Robust retirement program Outpatient practice environment Collaborative, multidisciplinary cancer care team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a community-based oncology program Positive work-life balance The natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle of Northern California’s Lake County Organization Details Sutter Lakeside Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving Lake County and surrounding Northern California communities.
